MCP · Connect AI

Your library, inside your agent.

Connect Repporti to Claude, Cursor or Codex via MCP. Your agent finds the report, configures it for your client and gets the prompt compiled with your Repporti Standard: country, accounting framework, report language and currency. Your figures never leave your AI.

  • Included in every paid plan
  • Free accounts: free items
  • Only IDs and parameters, never figures

Works with

Claude CodeClaude DesktopCursorCodexVS CodeAny MCP client
01

Your agent asks

buscar_reportes and obtener_prompt with an ID and parameters: country, framework, language, period and alias.

02

Repporti compiles

Core + Standard block for your profile + cuadre.py + your license, within your plan and your quota.

03

Your data stays put

The trial balance is attached in your AI. The server rejects figures and does not store arguments.

  1. Step 01

    Choose your client

    Claude Code

One command in your terminal. It becomes available in all your projects.

    Nothing else to install
  2. Step 02

    Register the server

Copy the exact command. Replace <REPPORTI_TOKEN> with your token from step 3, or create it below and we will insert it for you.

    Terminal
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user repporti https://repporti.space/api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer <REPPORTI_TOKEN>"

Works the same on macOS, Linux, PowerShell and CMD.

Check: open Claude Code and type /mcp: «repporti» should show as connected, with 5 tools.
The token is personal. If you share or lose it, revoke it in your account and create another one.
  3. Step 03

    Create your token

  4. Step 04

    Try it

How it looks in your agent

    Example

With Repporti, prepare the September 2026 close for “Client 07” with my Standard (US · US GAAP · en-US). I am attaching the trial balance here.
repporti › buscar_reportes"monthly close" · US · US-GAAPREP-001 Polaris · Monthly close report for the owner
    repporti › obtener_promptREP-001 · en-US · 2026-09 · «Client 07»compiled prompt + cuadre.py
I have the prompt for Polaris · Monthly close report for the owner (RS2026.10·US2026.10·US-GAAP@2026.10·en-US). I will start with the reconciliation controls on the trial balance you attached; if something does not reconcile, I will stop and show you the difference.

Your figures go to your AI, not to Repporti.

Privacy by schema

The server rejects figures. Try it.

Repporti only needs to know which report you want, with which profile and for which period. Everything else stays in your AI.

  • Rejected before any logicArguments larger than 4 KB, 6 or more consecutive digits, amounts with separators or lists of numbers.
  • Arguments are never loggedWe store which item was opened, when, and with which country, framework and language (for your quota and metrics), never what you sent.

Accepted: it is a parameter

An alias, a period or a search intent. Nothing that identifies your client.

Same code as the server. This test sends nothing: it runs here, on your screen.

Frequently asked questions

Before you connect

What is MCP and what is it for?

Model Context Protocol is the standard AI agents (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex…) use to call external tools. With the Repporti MCP your agent searches the library and gets the compiled prompt without you copying and pasting anything.

Does Repporti see my clients' figures?

No. The server only receives IDs and parameters (country, framework, language, period, alias). It rejects any argument larger than 4 KB, with 6 or more consecutive digits, with amounts or with lists of numbers, and it does not log arguments. You attach the trial balance and the Excel file in your AI.

Which report profile does it use?

The one you set up on the website (country, accounting framework, report language, currency, unit and year-end). Your agent can change the country, framework or language for a specific call, for example for a subsidiary that reports in English to its parent. If you have not set it up yet, a proposal based on your country is used.

Does it use my weekly quota?

Only obtener_prompt, with the same rules as the website: on the Monthly plan each new premium item uses 1 of your 10 for the week; reopening one you already unlocked does not count. Searching and checking the Standard or the glossary never use quota.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Not via MCP yet: ChatGPT connectors require OAuth sign-in and today Repporti connects with a personal token. Until then, copy the prompts from the website: they work just the same in ChatGPT.

What if the client says 401 or “unauthorized”?

The token is missing, was copied wrong or was revoked. Create a new one in your account, replace it in the command or in the configuration file and restart the client.

Can I share my token with my team?

No: the token is personal and carries your license. Each person creates their own from their account (the Firm plan includes seats for the team). If a token leaks, revoke it in your account and create another one.

Reports are a support draft; they do not replace the accountant, the statutory auditor or the external auditor.
