Assumptions and methodology
The report's basis of preparation, each assumption and estimate with value, source, owner and date, what changed since the previous report and how each figure is computed.
The appendix that makes the report reproducible: the framework, period, currency, comparatives and materiality it was prepared on; the assumptions, policies and estimates it uses (the month's tax rate, the doubtful receivables allowance, the collection days in the forecast, the scenarios); who set them and when.
The script compares each value with the previous report and lists every change, material or not: a harsher scenario or a higher rate never goes unmentioned. The methodology explains only the formulas the report uses, with the Repporti Standard names.
Assumptions are written as assumptions, never as facts, and without adjectives such as «conservative» or «reasonable». Anything without a source or owner is marked «[to be confirmed]».
What it includes
5 sections, in this order
- 01Action title: how many assumptions changed and the one that changed most
- 02Basis of preparation: framework, period, currency, comparatives, materiality, sources and audit status
- 03Table of assumptions and estimates: value, prior value, change, source, owner and date
- 04Changes since the previous report
- 05Calculation methodology: the formulas the report uses
Controls 4/4
What it checks before writing a single figure
C1Complete data: the values table has recognized headers, numeric figures, no duplicate ids and valid units.
C2Income statement subtotals add up to their lines (N/A if the values table has no subtotals).
C3Sign convention: costs and expenses with a single sign.
C4Every value cited (current, prior and change) exists in calculo.json with the same rounding and the title goes in the direction of the change.

Repporti Standard
It comes out adapted to your report profile
Compatible with every country and framework in the Standard: when you copy, it is composed with your profile (country, accounting framework, report language, currency, unit and year-end). Terminology, number format and statement names come from the Standard, not from the prompt.
See the Repporti StandardHow to use it
From the trial balance to the report in three steps
- 01Configure and copy
- 02Paste into your AI
- 03Review and deliver
Anonymize before pasting
- Company name → an alias (“Client 07”); tax ID → “ID-XX”.
- Customers, suppliers and employees → codes (C001, P001, E001). The mapping table stays on your computer.
- Use an AI that does not train on your data: business plan, API or training turned off.

Questions
About this block
How is this different from «Controls and limitations»?
This section says which assumptions and formulas produced the figures; «Controls and limitations» says what was checked and what was not. Together they form the report's quality appendix.
What counts as a change?
Any value different from the previous report, material or not, and any change of method. All are listed with the prior value, the new one and the source.
Does it take assumptions from other items?
Yes. If you ran a Repporti report in the same conversation, the assumptions its script printed are added to the register as «Script assumption».
