KPI cards
Up to six cards with the period's value, the variance against budget and prior year with ▲▼ and sign, and the definition of each KPI.
The block people look at before any table: up to six cards in a 3 × 2 grid, each with the big number, its variance against budget, prior year and prior month, and one line defining the KPI.
The arrow says which way the figure moved and the color says whether that is good for that KPI: a rising DSO is unfavorable even though the arrow points up. Percentages change in percentage points, not percent of percent.
The script calculates the variances and the Standard's line-item definitions are included; formulas for the company's own KPIs are asked for, never invented.
What it includes
4 sections, in this order
- 01Action title with the overall reading
- 023 × 2 card grid
- 03Each card: value, variances with ▲▼, definition
- 04Note: unit, period, comparatives and materiality
Controls 5/5
What it checks before writing a single figure
C1Complete data: recognized headers, numeric figures, no duplicate KPIs and valid units.
C2Income statement subtotals add up (N/A if the cards do not include a subtotal with all its lines).
C3Sign convention: costs and expenses with a single sign.
C4A selection of 1 to 6 KPIs that exist in the table.
C5Figures traceable to calculo.json and a title in the right direction.

Repporti Standard
It comes out adapted to your report profile
Compatible with every country and framework in the Standard: when you copy, it is composed with your profile (country, accounting framework, report language, currency, unit and year-end). Terminology, number format and statement names come from the Standard, not from the prompt.

Questions
About this block
What if I have more than six KPIs?
Choose six with the --kpis option, in reading order. The script never lets more than six cards through.
Why can the arrow and the color disagree?
The arrow shows whether the figure went up or down; the color, whether that is good. If days sales outstanding go up, the arrow points up and the color is red.
Does it work for PowerPoint?
Yes. Ask for the 16:9 slide variant: same cards, same figures and alt text per card.
