Vega · One-page P&L commentary
A single A4 page with the month's income statement, one action comment per material line and a chart of variances against budget.
For the owner or manager who reads the close on a phone: the summarized income statement with actual, budget and prior year, margins on their own row and, next to each line above materiality, a comment of 22 words or fewer on what happened, why and what to do.
Only the material lines flagged by the script get a comment; if none is material, there is a single closing comment. Causes come from notas.txt or stay as «[cause to be confirmed]»: the page never pads with adjectives.
The one-page constraint is checked by code: the script verifies that the Word file has no page breaks, 1 table and 1 chart, and no more than 350 words excluding figures. The statement and line names are those of your profile's framework. It ships with the supporting Excel file.
What it includes
5 sections, in this order
- 01Action title with the month's conclusion and its figure
- 02Income statement: actual, budget, prior year and margins
- 03One comment per material line: what happened, why and what to do
- 04Chart of variances against budget by line
- 05Footer with source, controls seal and disclaimer
Controls 6/6
What it checks before writing a single figure
C1The trial balance balances: debits = credits, balances net to 0 and there are no duplicate accounts.
C2Continuity by account: opening balance + debits − credits = closing balance.
C3Signs by line item: assets carry debit balances and liabilities credit balances; otherwise, reclassify.
C4Hierarchy and mapping: subtotals equal the sum of their detail accounts and 100% of detail accounts are mapped (by the reference chart or by the «rubro» column).
C5One page: the Word file has no page breaks, 1 table and 1 chart, and 350 words or fewer excluding figures.
C6Traceable figures: every figure in the Word file exists in calculo.json with the same rounding.

Repporti Standard
It comes out adapted to your report profile
Compatible with every country and framework in the Standard: when you copy, it is composed with your profile (country, accounting framework, report language, currency, unit and year-end). Terminology, number format and statement names come from the Standard, not from the prompt.

From the trial balance to the report in three steps
- 01Configure and copy
- 02Paste into your AI
- 03Review and deliver
Anonymize before pasting
- Company name → an alias (“Client 07”); tax ID → “ID-XX”.
- Customers, suppliers and employees → codes (C001, P001, E001). The mapping table stays on your computer.
- Use an AI that does not train on your data: business plan, API or training turned off.

Questions
About this report
What if the commentary does not fit on one page?
Control 5 fails and the AI trims: the longest comments first, then the non-material rows. It never adds a second page.
Which lines get a comment?
Only those above the double materiality threshold (percentage and amount) you set. If none is above it, the page has a single closing comment.
Does it work without a budget?
Yes: it compares against the same month of the prior year if you attach it; with no comparatives it shows the month with its margins and says so in the footnote.
Does it work in any country?
Yes. You set up your reporting profile once (country, framework, report language, currency, unit and year-end) and the prompt comes out with the Repporti Standard for that profile: terms, statements, number format and country pitfalls. The report core is the same everywhere.
