Report · REP-018 · v1.0

Betelgeuse · Annual summary for the owner

The year in numbers, explained for someone who is not an accountant: how much the company made, where the cash came from and where it went, how the business ended the year and what to decide next.

  • Word (.docx), 5 A4 pages in plain language for the owner, ready to export to PDF
  • Excel (.xlsx) with Data, Calculation, Cash bridge, Control and Charts sheets, with live formulas
  • Optional PowerPoint (.pptx) with 3 to 5 slides for the shareholders' meeting

Turns the monthly results for the year and the prior year plus the closing trial balances into a 5-page summary for the owner: the year on one page with 5 cards, the income statement against prior year with its monthly trend, a cash bridge showing where the money came from and where it went, how debt, equity and working capital ended up, and up to 4 decisions for the year ahead.

Before calculating, the AI checks with code that both years have all 12 months with their subtotals, that the two trial balances balance, that the change in equity is explained by profit and by the shareholder movements in your notes, and that the cash bridge closes with no balancing item. If something does not reconcile, it stops and asks.

Works with a closed fiscal year or with the rolling 12 months you choose. It explains each technical term once, without replacing the Repporti Standard terms in your profile, and makes no forecasts. Delivers a Word file and an Excel workbook with live formulas, a cash bridge and a Control sheet; the script checks every figure before printing the seal.

What it includes

5 sections, in this order

  1. 01The year on one page: bottom line, 3 bullets and 5 cards against prior year
  2. 02How the money was made: income statement and month-by-month trend
  3. 03Where the cash came from and where it went: cash bridge waterfall
  4. 04How the business ended the year: financial position, working capital and days
  5. 05For the year ahead: decisions with owner and date, plus appendix

Controls 5/5

What it checks before writing a single figure

  • C1Complete results: 12 consecutive months in each year and subtotals that add up month by month.

  • C2Financial position: both trial balances balance and assets = liabilities + equity at both dates.

  • C3Equity explained: its change = profit for the year ± shareholder movements documented in the notes.

  • C4A cash bridge that closes: opening cash + steps = closing cash, with no balancing item.

  • C5Traceable figures: every figure in the Word file exists in calculo.json and the title moves in the same direction as the change in profit for the period.

If the script ran

Repporti controls 5/5 · REP-018 v1.0 · RS2026.10 · {fecha} · fingerprint {hash}

If it did not run

NOT VERIFIED — controls not executed by code. Review the Control sheet of the XLSX.

If a control fails, the AI stops, shows the difference and asks how to proceed. It never forces the numbers to reconcile.

Repporti Standard

It comes out adapted to your report profile

Compatible with every country and framework in the Standard: when you copy, it is composed with your profile (country, accounting framework, report language, currency, unit and year-end). Terminology, number format and statement names come from the Standard, not from the prompt.

How to use it

From the trial balance to the report in three steps

  1. 01Configure and copyCheck your report profile (country, framework, language, currency) and the period. The prompt is assembled in your browser.
  2. 02Paste into your AIOpen ChatGPT or Claude, attach your anonymized files and paste the prompt.
  3. 03Review and deliverReview the controls table and the seal. If something does not reconcile, the AI stops and asks.

Anonymize before pasting

  • Company name → an alias (“Client 07”); tax ID → “ID-XX”.
  • Customers, suppliers and employees → codes (C001, P001, E001). The mapping table stays on your computer.
  • Use an AI that does not train on your data: business plan, API or training turned off.

Repporti neither receives nor stores your files or your figures: the prompt is assembled in your browser and your files go straight to your AI.

Questions

About this report

Does it work before the fiscal year closes?

Yes: you can ask for the rolling 12 months to any month. The report labels it that way on the cover and in every title.

Do I need the cash flow statement?

No. The cash bridge is calculated from the two trial balances and the year's profit (indirect method). Capex comes out net; if assets were sold, say so in your notes.

What if equity changed for reasons other than profit?

The AI requires dividends, contributions or withdrawals to be in your notes with their amount. If the difference is not explained, it stops and asks.

Does it replace the year-end financial statements?

No. It is a management summary for the owner; the financial statements and their notes are prepared and signed by whoever your country requires.

Can I present it to the shareholders?

Yes: ask for the 3 to 5-slide PowerPoint variant with action titles, or export the Word file to PDF.
