Decisions required
What management has to decide, as closed questions with two quantified options, who decides, a deadline and a preparer's recommendation only when the data support it.
The section that turns the report into a useful meeting: each decision is a question answered with A or B, with one sentence of context, both options with their figure, who decides and by when. At the end, a table with an empty column to record the answer in the meeting.
The preparer's recommendation appears only if the data support it unambiguously, for example when one option covers the shortfall and the other does not, and it cites the figures it compares. If it depends on something missing, it is conditional; with no basis, it says «No recommendation» and what information is missing.
The prompt does not invent decisions, options or costs: if an option needs a figure that is not in the data, it asks for it or marks it «[to be confirmed]». Every figure in the text is checked by the script.
What it includes
5 sections, in this order
- 01Action title: how many decisions, by what date and the one with the largest figure at stake
- 02One card per decision: question, who decides, deadline, context, option A and option B
- 03Preparer's recommendation (with basis), conditional or «No recommendation»
- 04Consequence of not deciding, only if it follows from the data
- 05Summary table with the answer column for the meeting
Controls 4/4
What it checks before writing a single figure
C1Complete data: the figures table has recognized headers, numeric figures, no duplicate ids and valid units.
C2Income statement subtotals add up to their lines (N/A if the figures table has no subtotals).
C3Sign convention: costs and expenses with a single sign.
C4Every figure on the cards (context, options and recommendation) exists in calculo.json with the same rounding.

Repporti Standard
It comes out adapted to your report profile
Compatible with every country and framework in the Standard: when you copy, it is composed with your profile (country, accounting framework, report language, currency, unit and year-end). Terminology, number format and statement names come from the Standard, not from the prompt.

Questions
About this block
Does the prompt always recommend an option?
No. Only when the data support it unambiguously, and it cites the figures it compares. If information is missing, the recommendation is conditional or says «No recommendation» and what is missing.
Where do the decisions come from?
From your decisions file or from the report you ran earlier in the same conversation. If you ask it to propose them, they are labelled «Preparer's proposal» and it waits for your approval.
How do I track the answers?
The Excel file has an Answers sheet with the chosen option, the date and who decided. Next month, «Next steps and owners» takes it as the source of the actions.
